Indian Agricultural Research Institute(IARI) Job Openings for Senior Research Fellow
Before IARI became a 'Deemed to-be University', up to 1957, students numbering 903 were awarded Associateship of IARI, which was recognized as equivalent to the M.Sc. degree of Indian universities. The Institute has, till February 2011, awarded Ph.D. degrees to 4150 students and M.Sc. degrees to 3237 students. In addition to the students from all parts of the country, 300 students from foreign countries have also received their degrees from the Institute. The Institute has also imparted training in specialized areas of agricultural sciences through training programmes funded by the ICAR, DBT, DST and other
organizations.
Job Details: Application are invited for the Posts of Senior Research Fellow in Indian Agricultural Research Institute(IARI).

Location: Delhi
Post: Senior Research Fellow
Age Limit: 35 Years.
Pay Scale (Salary): Rs.16000/- + 30% HRA.
Educational Qualifications:
M.Sc. (Biotechnology)/MS (Res.) in related field (Mol.Biology/ Bio- technology ) with minimum 60% marks. Two or more years’ experience in the area of Plant Molecular Biology. Experience preferably in gene cloning, bio-informatics and plant transformation.

The interview will be held on 28th June 2012 (reporting time 9.30-11.30 am) at NRCPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012. The candidates must bring five copies of duly filled in biodata (as per the format provided on next page), original certificates, attested photocopies of all the certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph.
