The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Agriculture in 1947 became a member of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) family in 1967. The headquarters was shifted from Mandapam Camp to Cochin in 1971.
Job Details: Application are invited for the Posts of Technical Assistant in Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI).

Age Limit: 35 years (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and Women and 3 years for OBC.
Pay Scale (Salary): Rs.12000/- PM (Consolidated).
Educational Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Organic Chemistry/ Chemistry with an experience in analytical work in R&D. The candidate should have hands on experience in analytical techniques like chromatographic purification (column chromatography, TLC, HPLC, GC) and spectroscopic techniques (NMR, IR, MS).
