Forest Survey of India (FSI) is an organisation under the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India Its principal mandate is to conduct survey and assessment of forest resources in the country.
Job Details: Application are invited for the Posts of Technical Associates in Forest Survey of India.

Post: Technical Associates
Age Limit: 30 Years.
Pay Scale (Salary): Rs.16000/-p.m. (fixed) +HRA as admissible
Qualifications:
M.Sc./B.E/B.Tech/M.A (Geography)/MCA from recognized University/Institute with some experience of remote sensing & GIS applications (Special paper, project, dissertation, work experience etc.).
Desirable Qualification : Diploma/Degree in Remote Sensing and GIS applications. Preference will be given to UGC/CSIR/NET qualified candidates.
Desirable Experience: 6 month’s experience of working in Digital Image Processing (DIP) and GIS softwares.

How to Apply:
Candidates have to appear for written test, and if qualified, have to appear for an hand-on-test followed by interview on 21st May, 2012. If the number of candidates is more, the selection process will continue for one more day. The venue for the tests is Forest Survey of India, Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun-248195, Uttarakhand. All the aspiring candidates must reach the venue by 9.30 a.m. Candidates who arrive after 9.30 a.m will not be considered.
