Applications are invited from the citizens of India for tilling up the following positions at CSIR—National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR), New Delhi (a constituent Institute of CSIR) as per details given below :—

• Total vacancies: 17 Posts
• Current vacancies: 09 Posts [SC 01, ST 01, OBC 02, UR 05]
• Backlog vacancies: 08 Posts [SC 01, ST U2 & OBO 05]
• I. Scientists in Pay Band PB-3 [Rs.             15600-39100      ) [GP- Rs. 6600/] or
• II. Senior Scientist Pay Band PB-3 [Rs.             15600-39100      ) [GP- Rs. 6600]

# The Selection Committee, depending upon the performance of the candidate, may choose to place the candidate in any of the Grade Pay mentioned above subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criterion specified. The details of Qualification, experience etc. is given below:-

1. Scientist Maximum age: 32 years as on 10.04.201 2
• Qualifications and Experience: Ph.D (Engg./Science) (thesis Submitted) in the area specified in the detailed advertisement; OR ME/M.Tech in the area as specified in the detailed advertisement OR B.Tech/ M.Sc. in the area as specified in the detailed advertisement (first class or 60% en an aggregate or an equivalent GPA) with Pest Graduate Degree in Intellectual Property Law,

2. Sr. Scientist Maximum age: 37 years as on 10.04.2012
• Qualifications and Experience: Ph.D (Engg.) in the area specified in the detailed advertisement. No experience required; OR Ph.D. (Sc.) in the area as specified in the detailed advertisement with 2 yrs. Experience; OR ME/ M.Tech in the area as specified in the detailed advertisement with 3 yrs. Experience; OR B.Tech/ M.Sc. in the area as specified in the detailed advertisement (first class or 60% on an aggregate or an equivalent GPA] with Post Graduate Degree in Intellectual Property Law with 3yrs. experience.
